General Handling Protocol *
MELISSA Herbals powder treatments are shelf-stable water-free formulas made with concentrated whole botanicals, activated fresh immediately before each use.
Formulated for professional backbar use. Simply mix with your preferred liquid, customize as desired, and apply according to your professional protocol.

Activated fresh with each use. Using a clean, dry spoon, place powder into a separate bowl and add liquid to activate.
Do not introduce moisture into the jar. Mix with distilled water or your preferred liquid.
Do not mix with chemical peels, acids, hydrogen peroxide, hair developer, bleach or unknown concentrated actives.
Adjust powder-to-liquid ratio to achieve desired consistency.
May be customized with compatible creams, serums, or oils.
Storage & Care
Keep container tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Cautions
Never use on broken or irritated skin. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and inhalation of powder. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Patch test when necessary.

Usage Protocol
Step 1: Choose Your Powder
Each water-free powder is a complete treatment formula.
Select one treatment or build a complete service using two, three, or all four powders based on your client's skin type, concerns, and treatment goals.
Step 2: Activate & Customize
Mix the powder with your preferred activator to achieve the desired consistency.
Choose from distilled water, herbal tea, hydrosols, aloe vera juice, milk, honey, or yogurt.
Use as-is or further customize the treatment with compatible creams, serums, or oils to suit your preferred treatment protocol.
Step 3: Apply
Apply the freshly mixed treatment according to your professional protocol, then remove as appropriate for the selected treatment.
